Media is the means by which something is communicated. Thus, social media would be the communication through technological social outlets. Networking via social media can be done in numerous ways with all of the resources available to us today. Social networking apps, websites, chatrooms, etc. allow people from all over the world to communicate, share knowledge, share ideas and opinions, and so on.  Currently, I use Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. I use Snapchat and Instagram for similar reasons, including sharing experiences with friends, families, and other acquaintances. I typically only follow and stay connected with those I know, or who I once knew but am not close with anymore. LinkedIn is what I use for professional networking. Pinterest allows me to gain insight on art, specifically nail art, hair inspiration, birthday party themes, room decor, and others alike. My Thoughts on Social Media: LJ1

Hello 👋  For my first learning journal topic, I'm here to discuss some of my opinions on social media. Social media etiquette depends on who you are and what your role is in the social media community. It also depends on what platform you are using. Welcome to my blog!

Welcome Everyone!! 👩My name is Mia Eifrid. I was born just outside of Detroit, Michigan, but have lived pretty much most of my life in Wesley Chapel, where I currently reside.  📚My major is Health Sciences, with a concentration in Health IT. I worked for almost two years as a patient care coordinator and Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay, which I thoroughly enjoyed. After gaining what I felt like was enough experience in that area, I decided I have a passion for clinical research and have been working towards entering that line of work. I recently have been hired by USF Internal Medicine/Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine as a research support specialist. I cannot wait to start and learn so many new things!!! 💭A few things I think you all should know are (1) I played soccer my entire life up until college, where I decided to focus on education rather than sports, (2) Family is the most important thing in my life- especially my older sister...
